About the role
- NOC Analyst monitoring and supporting IT networks at Dexcom. Ensuring performance, security, and high availability in healthcare technology.
Responsibilities
- Monitor dashboards for network, server, and application health.
- Validate alerts and prioritize events against Service Level Agreements / Operational Level Agreements.
- Perform first/second‑level diagnostics on connectivity and performance issues.
- Escalate issues to NOC Engineers and collaborate with them to determine effective courses of action.
- Log all work in ITSM/ticketing system and produce shift handover notes.
- Assist/Log planned maintenance windows for Network and System including Vendor Change tracking / monitoring.
- Create / Update Documentation and or Runbooks.
- Coordinate with IOC Team, Change and Problem Management, Network/Systems Engineering, DBAs, App teams, vendors and other teams.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors in IT or related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year experience in systems or network operations, or similar role.
- Technical Foundations: Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), OSI fundamentals, monitoring tools, ITSM platforms.
- Capabilities: Strong analysis/troubleshooting, structured communication, calm under pressure.
- Availability: Willingness to work rotating shifts.
- (Nice to have) Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, ITIL Foundation.
- (Nice to have) Experience: Prior NOC/IOC, enterprise monitoring, or Level 2 support; scripting for automation.
- (Nice to have) Familiarity with ITIL Incident, Change and Problem Management.
