About the role

  • Legal Affairs Technician providing technical support to protect organizational legal interests in a hybrid work setting. Involves research, analysis, and coordination of legal activities with a focus on communication in French and English.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct specialized technical studies, research, and analysis on legal matters
  • Serve as a resource person for proposing solutions and action plans
  • Provide technical support for tasks, projects, and complex operational issues
  • Assist your unit’s legal staff with their initiatives and help plan and coordinate legal activities
  • Prepare and draft reports, documents, summaries, and technical notes
  • Follow up with practitioners and decision-making bodies as required
  • Forward files in accordance with established procedures
  • Help practitioners follow your unit’s standards and processes and use its tools and systems

Requirements

  • General college diploma in a related field
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English
