Responsibilities
Develop and implement efficient legal processes and workflows to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Oversee the implementation and management of Legal Tracker or equivalent software to ensure effective matter management, billing, and reporting.
Assist in the preparation and management of the legal department's budget, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Manage relationships with external legal service providers, including negotiating rates and evaluating performance.
Analyze legal data to provide insights and recommendations for improving department performance and decision-making.
Lead and manage legal projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business objectives.
Support compliance initiatives and risk management strategies to protect the company’s interests.
Work closely with legal team members and other departments to ensure alignment and support for legal initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
5+ years proven experience in legal operations, preferably within an in-house legal department.
Familiarity with Legal Tracker or equivalent legal management and ebilling software.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
