About the role

  • Compliance Advisor managing regulatory compliance frameworks and advising clients for Desjardins Group. Overseeing standards and supporting client interactions in compliance and complaints management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, roll out and coordinate the compliance framework and related regulations
  • Ensure measures comply with Desjardins Group’s standards
  • Advise and support clients and partners on various initiatives
  • Propose solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies and programs
  • Prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans based on the organization’s objectives and priorities
  • Help solve complex problems using analytical skills
  • Design, update, implement and monitor legal and regulatory compliance action plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in compliance or complaints management
  • Experience as a property and casualty insurance claims advisor or agent
  • Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
  • Expert proficiency of English
