About the role

  • Lawyer specializing in public construction law and environmental law at Dentons. Consulting clients on regulatory issues and coordinating interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Advising clients on public law and regulatory matters
  • Transactional advisory support in construction, planning, environmental and other public law matters
  • Handling construction and emissions-protection permitting procedures for development projects, participation in zoning plan (local development plan) procedures, and related issues
  • Advising companies and investors on property- and facility-related environmental law issues
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration across offices and countries

Requirements

  • Excellent legal expertise, evidenced by two top-graded state law examinations (Prädikatsexamina)
  • Ideally 2 years of professional experience in the described field
  • Demonstrated strong interest in public law, e.g., through previous internships, an academic focus, a public-law emphasis during the Referendariat (legal traineeship), or similar
  • Business-fluent English, written and spoken
  • Commercial and creative mindset
  • Passion, commitment and team spirit
