About the role

  • Junior Lawyer focused on structured operations and investments in Capital Markets for Demarest, a leading Brazilian law firm. Involves complex financial operations and securities.

Responsibilities

  • Structuring and implementation of complex capital-raising transactions;
  • Issuance of structured debt (securitized debentures, agribusiness debt instruments, and other debt securities);
  • Establishment of security interests over various assets;
  • Experience with transactions in strategic sectors such as agribusiness, real estate, infrastructure, capital solutions, among others;
  • Implementation of investment funds, especially structured funds such as FIDC (credit receivables investment funds), FIAGRO, FII (real estate investment funds), and FIP (private equity funds);
  • Raising funds through securitization transactions (securitized debentures, CRI — real estate receivables certificates, CRA — agribusiness receivables certificates, FIDC);
  • Regulatory knowledge of capital markets, investment funds, and debt securities.

Requirements

  • Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent);
  • Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB);
  • Fluent English is required.
