About the role
- Financial Analyst responsible for long-term capital planning and cash forecasting at The Cigna Group. Collaborating with multiple partners to deliver financial insights and support capital market transactions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the enterprise long-term capital planning process
- Manage long-term cash forecasting process
- Oversee debt management and administration of share repurchase and trade finance programs
- Work with various business partners to collect data for capital plan and cash forecast
- Maintain and enhance capital plan and cash forecast financial models
- Produce reports for management and complete variance analysis
- Manage daily operations for share repurchase and trade finance program
- Support capital market transactions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Finance, Corporate Treasury, FP&A, Accounting or similar functions
- Proficient in financial modelling, reporting and analysis
- General understanding of GAAP financial statements; Income, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Hyperion Essbase/Smartview experience preferred
- Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and escalate issues appropriately
- Strong oral and written communications and presentation skills
- Ability to work cross functionally and build strong relationships with internal and external partners
- Self-starter who takes ownership of initiatives, possesses strong attention to detail and has a solutions-based mindset.
