About the role
- EPM Consultant at Deloitte, advising CFOs on financial consolidation and planning solutions. Involves designing data models and developing reports for client transformation journeys.
Responsibilities
- Design and configure multi-dimensional data models for financial consolidation and financial planning.
- Develop business rules (VB.NET/C#) to automate complex calculation logic.
- Develop dashboards and reports using OneStream’s native reporting tools.
- Build data integration with source systems using OneStream’s Data Management framework.
- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle from requirement phase to deployment.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in a business, technology or finance discipline.
- Minimum 4 years’ working experience in implementation of OneStream or comparable EPM platforms (e.g. Anaplan, Oracle Cloud EPM [FCCS/EPBCS], Jedox, Board, Hyperion HFM/Planning, SAP BPC, or Cognos TM1) with at least one full lifecycle implementation focusing on financial consolidation, budgeting or forecasting.
- Strong technical aptitude, including experience with scripting or programming logic (e.g., VB.NET, C#, or SQL) and multi-dimensional data modeling.
- Strong functional knowledge of finance systems and processes & / or financial consolidation or planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience of working in consulting team to deliver bespoke solutions using agile development methods.
- Exceptional interpersonal, team building, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience.
- Ability to build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings.
- An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel (both locally and abroad) is a pre-requisite to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment.
