About the role
- ORBIS Pilot & Rollout Manager overseeing technical installations and customer interactions in healthcare IT based in Trier or Vienna. Responsible for coordinating feedback and ensuring compliance with updated systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee technical ORBIS installations with care and expertise — from preparation through successful commissioning to the required follow-up activities
- Act as the primary contact person for our update partners (customers)
- Serve as an interface between the company and our update partners, representing their requirements equally
- Monitor feedback from update partners, ensure agreed response times are met, and ensure assigned tasks are completed
- Define the update steps for the installation of our ORBIS releases in coordination with the relevant departments
- Conduct regular coordination meetings with all update partners
- Work closely with management, project & release managers, sales, support, and development teams
- Remain calm in stressful situations and be willing to work outside regular business hours when required.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or relevant professional experience in an IT environment, or a Bachelor's degree in (Medical) Informatics, Computer Engineering, or studies in healthcare with an IT focus
- 3+ years of experience in the rollout or operation of complex IT systems, ideally in healthcare IT or clinical environments (e.g., hospital information systems, radiology or laboratory systems)
- Solid understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycles, and infrastructure projects
- Excellent German skills (C1 level) and good English skills (at least B2 level)
- Service-oriented, responsible, assertive, and communicative
- Business-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
- High level of organizational and negotiation skills combined with initiative, commitment, and the ability to work independently within a team
- Strong analytical abilities and a structured, goal-oriented approach to tasks
- Knowledge of French is an advantage
