About the role
- Contabilidade Analyst supporting strategic and operational accounting functions for a tech leader in Cloud and Data solutions. Ensuring compliance and providing insights through financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for providing strategic and operational support to the Accounting and Controllership areas, ensuring the reliability of the company’s accounting and tax information.
- Your role will be essential in structuring, monitoring and analyzing the budget, directly supporting managerial decision-making. In addition, you will play an important role in delivering statutory filings and controlling accounting closings, always ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accounting best practices.
- Main responsibilities:
- Support financial management in preparing and analyzing the budget by cost center and business line
- Contribute to the analysis of gross and net margin, identifying and evaluating variances between budgeted and actual results
- Perform monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual accounting close procedures
- Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, such as the Balance Sheet and Income Statement (P&L)
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of all statutory filings (ECD, ECF, EFD Contribuições, EFD Reinf, IBGE, DCTF, LALUR, DIRBI)
- Perform reconciliations, analyses and accounting adjustments, ensuring consistency of entries and reconciliations
- Analyze financial variances and trends, proposing process and internal control improvements
- Ensure adherence to accounting and regulatory standards, and support internal and external audits
- Prepare management reports and analyses that contribute to the company’s strategic decisions
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of accounting and controllership processes
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting (Bachelor’s in Accounting)
- Experience in controllership, accounting or audit
- Knowledge of accounting standards and statutory filings
- Proficiency with ERP systems
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
