About the role
- Senior Data Analyst providing strategic consultation and outcome ownership at a rapidly growing fintech company. Leveraging data analysis to support key financial decisions and optimize business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be the analytical backbone for key financial and business decisions, moving beyond reporting to strategic consultation and outcome ownership.
- Drive Strategic Outcomes: Apply advanced statistical methods (e.g. LTV/churn prediction, Feature Release monitoring) to address Product analysis needs. You will translate insights from domain areas like Payments and Investment into actionable strategies for executive leaders.
- Lead End-to-End Analytical Projects: Scope, own, and execute full-cycle analytical projects—from initial hypothesis and complex data manipulation to final executive-level presentation and monitoring of implementation.
- Strategic Communication & Storytelling: Move beyond simple dashboards. You will utilize exceptional written and verbal communication skills to present narrative-driven findings to executive stakeholders (CEO, VP of Product, and other Product Managers) and influence their strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Expertise in Data Analysis & Domain Knowledge
- Financial/Data Modeling & Statistical Analysis: The ability to apply advanced statistical methods (e.g., regression, time-series analysis) to solve complex Product problems.
- Data Transformation & Engineering Acumen (ELT Focus): Expert-level SQL proficiency and experience with dbt for building and maintaining production-ready data models.
- Modern Data Stack Mastery: Hands-on expertise with Snowflake (Advanced SQL, performance optimization) and Looker/LookML for creating dynamic, self-service BI solutions. Experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration is required.
- Scripting & Analysis: Advanced proficiency in a scripting language like Python for complex data manipulation, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
- Strategic Business Translation & Storytelling: The proven skill to frame analytical findings within the context of business goals and clearly communicate actionable, influential recommendations to both technical and non-technical cross-functional stakeholders.
