About the role

  • Test Manager overseeing both internal and external system tests for optoelectronic systems. Coordination with system integrators and documentation of results in Polarion at MENTOR.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, coordination and monitoring of internal and external system tests for optoelectronic and optomechanical systems
  • Coordination of test activities with system integrators, developers and other project stakeholders
  • Preparation of verification criteria, test plans and test specifications in alignment with the functional requirements
  • Maintenance, management and documentation of test results in the Polarion database system
  • Responsibility for the timely execution and evaluation of all test phases
  • Analysis of test results, preparation of defect reports and tracking of corrective actions
  • Organization and moderation of test reviews and acceptance procedures

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience (at least 6 years) in system testing, test coordination or test management in the automotive supplier industry, preferably for optoelectronic systems
  • Solid knowledge of test methods, test planning and test execution
  • Experience with test management and ALM tools, in particular Polarion
  • Very good German (C1) and English (B2), spoken and written
  • Required: Experience coordinating internal and external test activities
  • Strong expertise in creating test cases and executing system tests
  • Knowledge of common automotive development processes (e.g., ASPICE, V-Model)
  • Desirable: ISTQB Certified Test Manager or equivalent certification
  • Experience with functional safety according to ISO 26262
  • Experience developing test environments including test hardware
  • Experience with some of the tools DOORS, JIRA, GIT, Redmine, Q-Wiki, Confluence, Enterprise Architect, Microsoft Excel, Codebeamer
