About the role

• Tech Lead overseeing fullstack product development at Packmatic, a B2B SaaS company. Collaborating with teams and managing a development team to enhance packaging management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Take technical responsibility for our full-stack product development.
• Develop new features and architectures — from the initial idea to production delivery.
• Work closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to shape technical solutions around user needs.
• Act as the technical point of contact for our customers and actively support projects — such as integrating our customers' systems — during operational phases.
• Interact directly with customer teams, support technical inquiries, and translate their requirements into the product.
• Take ownership of projects, plan implementations and releases, and drive the team's development process.
• Collaborate closely with our Product Lead to achieve the best outcomes.
• Lead a team of currently 4 software engineers and actively help shape our engineering culture.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in software development — ideally with scaling SaaS products.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js, ideally with experience using NestJS on the backend — complemented by a good understanding of frontend technologies such as React.
• Experience building modern APIs, working with different system architectures, and data modeling.
• Confident with deployment, testing, and CI/CD processes.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to define and execute technical roadmaps efficiently.
• Ideally some experience in team leadership or technical mentoring.
• Solution-oriented and pragmatic approach, working closely aligned with the product vision.
