About the role
- Information Security Consultant advising clients on information security and data protection measures. Developing security strategies and coordinating training programs in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Advise our clients on information security and data protection
- Identify and analyze stakeholders and their requirements
- Draft security policies and translate standards into company policies
- Support clients in defining an ISM scope
- Independently manage subprojects
- Define security measures based on the security policies
- Monitor progress in the implementation of measures
- Regularly review the effectiveness of security measures
- Plan and coordinate training and awareness programs
- Develop role- and permission-management systems for clients
- Regularly review IT security concepts
- Review and implement GDPR (DSGVO) compliance measures
- Initiate, coordinate and monitor measures to improve the risk situation
- Act as a point of contact and advisor for employees and clients on security-related matters
Requirements
- Professional experience in this or a similar role
- Solid knowledge of Information Security Management
- Good knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL)
- Familiarity with the Prince2 project methodology
- Understanding of security technologies
- Experience with security concepts and incident response/contingency plans
- Knowledge of ITIL, ISO 20000 and ISO 27001
- Good knowledge of legal regulations, especially GDPR
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High service and consulting orientation
- Very good German language skills and good English language skills
