Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring the quality of developed products, working on test planning, execution, and automation.
Actively contributes to continuous process improvement, implementation of best practices and identification of defects, ensuring solutions meet technical and business requirements.
Execute software tests, follow predefined test scripts for release or demand test cycles, and ensure the established methodology is applied to prevent defects.
Create test scripts and methodologies for the company's commercial software, updating them as needed to ensure product functionality.
Report defects to the development department, specify the expected behavior of the affected functionality, and guide developers on how to reproduce the issue.
Create release documentation and list all routines or features that were modified, improved, or fixed in the release.
Make new releases available for client updates after testing is completed.
Stay current with new technologies, methods, and processes, and propose changes that ensure the quality of the company's software.
Assist and guide other analysts and assistants in the use of testing methodology and test execution, and ensure quality best practices.
Comply with company policies, procedures and standards related to work processes and implemented management systems.
Perform other duties related to the role and work procedures as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
Solid experience in software testing
Intermediate knowledge of testing techniques and test types
Experience with test management and bug tracking tools
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the software development life cycle
