Responsibilities
- Active management and optimization of the gas portfolio (short-, mid- and long-term)
- Analysis of market, price and volume scenarios
- Development of trading and hedging strategies
- Definition of processes and standards for the gas and biomethane portfolio
- Preparation of forecasts and balance calculations based on mathematical models
- Procurement of gas and biomethane volumes
- Continuous portfolio valuation
- Responsibility for contracting and contract management
Requirements
- Degree or training in Business Administration, Renewable Energies or Industrial Engineering, or a solid commercial education with relevant additional qualifications
- Several years of experience in portfolio management, energy trading or energy procurement, ideally in the gas market
- Experience in the energy sector
- High level of professional expertise and knowledge of the gas industry
- Initial leadership experience (not mandatory)
- Very good understanding of the European gas and energy markets (e.g. TTF, THE, LNG)
- Independent, solution-oriented working style
- Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience is an advantage
- Native-level German; business-fluent English
