About the role

  • Sales Engineer developing tailored energy solutions and managing customer relations in Wolgast. Coordinating project implementation and ensuring sustainability in energy supply.

Responsibilities

  • Develop tailored supply solutions for heating, power, and cooling
  • Coordinate project implementation with responsible operating sites and internal stakeholders
  • Convert existing supply locations to fully renewable heat supply
  • Acquire and advise customers within your sales territory
  • Provide on-site customer support and secure or expand customer relationships
  • Prepare technical and economic calculations and proposals
  • Conduct contract negotiations up to and including contract drafting
  • Handle public tenders and manage project-related enquiries
  • Support customer service and billing

Requirements

  • Completed technical degree (e.g., Industrial Engineering in Energy and Environmental Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering)
  • Alternatively, a state-certified technician or equivalent qualification (e.g., industrial foreman/master)
  • Ideally 3–5 years of professional experience in energy engineering or the energy industry
  • Business/financial experience gained in previous roles
  • Experience in customer relations and communication, preferably in the energy sector, and in contract management
  • Project management skills, including cost calculations, and experience in implementing, contributing to, and leading projects
  • Very good command of MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Business-fluent German language skills
  • Confident, professional demeanour and a strong service orientation
  • Cross-functional and analytical thinking
  • Proactive working style and interest in helping to shape sales activities and sales processes
