Responsibilities
- Project management for new construction and refurbishment of plants in the energy sector, including cost and resource planning
- Operational owner's representative
- Independently oversee construction projects from planning and permitting through implementation, commissioning, and documentation
- Responsible for meeting deadlines and budgets and for achieving project objectives during execution
- Point of contact for contractors, engineering offices, expert assessors, and authorities
Requirements
- Degree in energy engineering, process engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, or plant engineering, or a comparable qualification, or certification as a state-certified technician
- Practical experience as a project manager or project engineer in plant/industrial engineering
- Basic knowledge of construction and environmental law, contract law, and the VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures)
- Technical know-how in renewable energy, particularly biogas plants, is an advantage
- MS Office skills
- Excellent written and spoken German language skills
- Possession of a valid Class B driving license (car)
