About the role
- Field CTO driving innovation in Enterprise Networking at Damovo. Collaborating with technical teams to develop solutions like AI-driven Networking and Network Automation.
Responsibilities
- You lead the development and implementation of the enterprise networking strategy — always aligned with customer needs and market trends.
- You act as a technical sparring partner for enterprise and public-sector customers, leading workshops, roundtables and architecture reviews with C-level decision-makers.
- You drive the development of Network-as-a-Service, Managed Security Services, as well as hybrid and cloud-native network solutions.
- You translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.
- You publish whitepapers, host webinars, and represent Damovo at international events and vendor summits.
- You work closely with leading partners such as Cisco, Extreme Networks, HPE Aruba, Nokia, and Palo Alto to develop new services and go-to-market strategies.
- You act as a mentor for technical teams, sharing your knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise networking, with at least 10 years in senior technical roles.
- Expertise in SD-WAN, SASE, wireless networking, network security, and cloud connectivity.
- Hands-on experience with AI-driven network automation and predictive analytics.
- Experience advising enterprise and public-sector clients at the C-level.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate technology trends into business opportunities.
- Close relationships with leading security vendors and technology partners.
- Strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust both internally and externally.
- Fluent in English and German (additional languages are a plus).
