About the role

• License Manager overseeing software compliance and asset management for an international finance company. Collaborating with IT and procurement in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• You develop and maintain company-wide policies for license management and ensure their consistent implementation
• You act as the point of contact for business units on all matters related to licenses, compliance and contract drafting
• You analyze licensing models, assess license volumes and ensure transparency and efficiency in licensing costs
• Together with internal partners you draft licensing agreements and ensure clear, legally sound provisions
• You support the establishment and rollout of a modern SAM system and establish sustainable processes
• You produce regular reports and derive recommendations for management from them

Requirements

• Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in license management, ideally in an international environment
• Solid knowledge of licensing models, vendors and SAM systems
• Analytical, structured thinking and a good understanding of processes and compliance
• Excellent German and English skills and a confident manner when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
• Careful, independent working style and enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration
