About the role

  • Licensed Mail Order Pharmacy Technician processing and verifying prescriptions. Providing exceptional patient service within a fast-paced, independent work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process, fill, and verify prescription orders following established procedures and written work instructions
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality awareness in all tasks
  • Meet or exceed minimum efficiency and productivity targets as defined by the department
  • Perform accurate math calculations related to pharmaceutical measurements and order fulfillment
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and state regulations, including travel to site as needed for training, meetings, or as required by law
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA and privacy standards
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a home-based setting
  • Maintain a distraction-free, secure workspace that meets the company’s Work from Home (WFH) policy
  • Exhibit strong self-management skills; consistently meet attendance, quality, and efficiency expectations when working remotely

Requirements

  • Texas requires an active state technician license AND active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or PTCB)
  • Illinois requires active certified state technician license (must be marked certified on state Illinois license) AND active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or PTCB)
  • Florida requires an active state technician license
  • Pennsylvania requires proof of license registration in process
  • Proven experience in pharmacy operations or mail order settings preferred
  • Minimum of 3 months prior relevant work experience
  • Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to follow written instructions precisely and adapt to changing priorities
  • Solid math skills and comfort with pharmaceutical calculations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to travel to the worksite when required for training, meetings, or compliance with state regulations
