About the role

• Front-End Software Engineer developing user interfaces for CtrlChain's logistics platform. Collaborating with teams to create efficient and user-friendly web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy frontend features and services independently while maintaining high quality and performance standards.
• Design, monitor, configure, and implement solutions for the user-facing side of our platform.
• Collaborate with team members in technical discussions, planning sessions, and code reviews.
• Ensure the delivery of assigned tasks while supporting broader team objectives.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to industry best practices.
• Stay focused on optimizing system performance and usability.
• Convert design models into seamless, functional interfaces using HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with UX designers and gather user feedback to deliver smooth, intuitive navigation experiences.
• Use techniques like lazy loading and local caching to optimize loading times and resource efficiency.
• Integrate APIs for asynchronous data retrieval and ensure robust error handling and security measures.
• Test and refine applications to ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing knowledge, staying up to date with industry trends, and automating processes wherever possible.
• Actively participate in technical discussions, planning, and code reviews to enhance team delivery.

Requirements

• Education: HBO diploma in a relevant field.
• Experience: 5 - 8 years of work experience in frontend development.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language.
• Solid understanding of software design principles, testing, and debugging techniques.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and databases.
• Knowledge of system performance and optimization techniques.
• A passion for building functional, efficient, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Experience with Angular is mandatory.
• Experience with ngrx is a plus.
