Responsibilities
- Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress websites using Bedrock, Sage, and vanilla WordPress
- Create and update templates, themes, components, and plugins to support business and marketing needs
- Build responsive landing pages in Marketo to support global campaigns
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets design and accessibility standards
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across environments, ensuring fast resolution and minimal downtime
- Perform cross-browser and device testing to ensure consistent, high-quality user experiences
- Support SEO, performance, and accessibility standards through thoughtful development
- Collaborate closely with the Web and Marketing teams and contribute to a smooth delivery process via Git
Requirements
- Proven experience developing and maintaining custom WordPress sites in fast-paced environments
- Strong proficiency in:**Frontend: HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6), jQuery
- Backend: PHP, MySQL, WordPress Bedrock, Sage
- Workflow: Git, CLI, NPM, Yarn
- Proven ability to debug complex web issues independently and efficiently
- Familiarity with Mac and Windows development environments
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-starter with the discipline to manage remote work effectively
