Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure for EVENTIM’s application and data platforms
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/OpenTofu to ensure consistent, secure, and repeatable deployments
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Operate observability stacks (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure platform reliability and performance
- Collaborate closely with application, data, and security teams to drive scalability, automation, and compliance
- Advance containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS)
- Support incident response and proactively improve the platform
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional experience with AWS, including EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, VPC, and Transit Gateway
- Proven expertise with Terraform/OpenTofu and IaC principles
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps workflows (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline)
- Solid knowledge of Linux, networking, and cloud security fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS
- Scripting proficiency in Bash or Python
- Strong communication skills and an agile, collaborative mindset in cross-functional teams
- Very good German and English language skills
