About the role

Responsibilities
- Evaluate the physiological variability of modern tomato varieties in response to digital climate control
- Collect physiological measurements (photosynthetic activity, chlorophyll fluorescence, leaf thickness, stomatal density, biomass allocation, …)
- Monitor crop growth and production to assess the agronomic and economic performance of the different treatments/modalities
- Detailed monitoring of energy consumption for each modality
- Compare “expert” climate management strategies with an autonomous system
Requirements
- Master’s level (equivalent to Bac+5) — final-year internship in an engineering school or a second-year Master’s at university
- Knowledge of agronomy and plant physiology
- Curiosity and ability to work independently
- Proficiency in R required (data management and analysis)
- Own means of transportation required
