Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communication strategies that amplify the Rural Health Transformation Program’s (RHTP) impact across Indiana.
- Create compelling content for public-facing channels.
- Coordinate media outreach and manage stakeholder communications.
- Support community engagement campaigns that build awareness of rural health transformation efforts.
- Work closely with IDOH communications leadership and initiative teams to ensure consistent, impactful messaging.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field
- Strong written communication skills with experience producing content for diverse audiences
- Experience in community outreach, media relations, or public affairs
- Ability to manage multiple communication projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with public health or government communications preferred
