About the role

  • Cyber Security IT Intern at Crystal Dynamics contributing to AAA game development projects. Gain hands-on experience and develop industry-relevant skills in IT and Cyber Security.

Responsibilities

  • Take part in meaningful, hands-on work that contributes directly to active AAA projects.
  • Step into a professional development environment where ongoing projects, experienced mentors, and collaborative teams give you a direct view into AAA game creation.
  • Build industry ready skills, form strong professional relationships, and deepen understanding of how world-class games are made.
  • Acquire essential skills using industry-standard infrastructure tools and components such as firewalls, networks, storage, and anti-malware/endpoint protection systems as well as security tools like MS Defender.
  • Participate in various aspects of studio IT operations and cybersecurity support, including system monitoring, security best practices, access management, and incident response preparation.
  • Support mid, senior, and lead IT and security team members by assisting with user support requests, documenting procedures, helping investigate security alerts, and supporting audits or compliance-related tasks.
  • Enhance understanding of cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and secure workflows that support game development and protect studio systems, data, and employees.

Requirements

  • Enrolled as a college Junior or Senior (Seniors could have graduated in Fall/Winter 2025 or will be graduating in Spring 2026).
  • Pursuing a 2-4 year degree in IT, Cyber Security, or related fields.
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hrs / week) for the duration of the program (June 1st –August 21st, 2026).
  • Able to work onsite at our studio in San Carlos, CA for the first 1- 2 weeks for onboarding.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
