About the role
- Senior Accountant at CrowdFarming managing accounting and treasury processes to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Focused on optimizing financial operations and supporting audits.
Responsibilities
- Execute the full accounting cycle
- Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and balances with international subsidiaries
- Ensure accurate accounting of foreign currency transactions
- Manage bank remittances, urgent payments, and bank reconciliations
- Own the end-to-end Accounts Payable process (invoice review, posting, and approvals)
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
- Ensure the proper functioning and accounting of the expense and travel management tool
- Actively participate in monthly and annual closing processes
- Support external audits by preparing and providing required documentation
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes and implement automation solutions
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle and ERP systems (Business Central 365 preferred)
- Experience in multi-entity environments and foreign currency accounting
- Basic tax knowledge (VAT and periodic tax obligations)
- High level of English; additional languages (French, Italian, or German) are a plus
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance/accounting roles
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
