Customer Project Manager II handling Large, Complex Fiber Projects for Cox Business. Overseeing project management functions, vendor selection, and resource planning to ensure timely delivery.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of project management functions associated with all Large, Complex Fiber Projects, On/Off.
Facilitates communication across operational groups and ensures compliance with the defined processes and implementation.
Responsible for key decisions such as vendor selection, guidance on selecting equipment to best meet customer needs, expediting the scheduling of high-profile projects to maximize immediate reoccurring revenue.
Plans sequencing projects and directs employees, vendors, and third parties to accomplish projects on agreed upon timeframes.
Prepares cost analysis to maximize return on investment.
Manages long range logistics and planning for multiple customer projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 2 years’ experience in a related field (i.e. Communications Industry, Project Management, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
Self-directed and self-motivated.
Strong knowledge of good customer service practices and project management.
Customer-oriented and service minded.
Time management and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and verbal and written communication skills to work effectively both internally and with HICAP customers.
Experience in telecommunications industry.
