About the role

  • Customer Project Manager II handling Large, Complex Fiber Projects for Cox Business. Overseeing project management functions, vendor selection, and resource planning to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of project management functions associated with all Large, Complex Fiber Projects, On/Off.
  • Facilitates communication across operational groups and ensures compliance with the defined processes and implementation.
  • Responsible for key decisions such as vendor selection, guidance on selecting equipment to best meet customer needs, expediting the scheduling of high-profile projects to maximize immediate reoccurring revenue.
  • Plans sequencing projects and directs employees, vendors, and third parties to accomplish projects on agreed upon timeframes.
  • Prepares cost analysis to maximize return on investment.
  • Manages long range logistics and planning for multiple customer projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 2 years’ experience in a related field (i.e. Communications Industry, Project Management, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Self-directed and self-motivated.
  • Strong knowledge of good customer service practices and project management.
  • Customer-oriented and service minded.
  • Time management and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and verbal and written communication skills to work effectively both internally and with HICAP customers.
  • Experience in telecommunications industry.
