About the role
- IT System Administrator specializing in Windows and Linux server administration. Working on Microsoft Azure resources and engaging in IT project collaborations.
Responsibilities
- Administration, maintenance and further development of Windows and Linux servers
- Operation and monitoring of Hyper-V virtualization environments
- Implementation, operation and optimization of Microsoft Azure resources
- Administration and maintenance of Active Directory and Entra ID
- Execution of and participation in IT projects, migrations and system changes
- 1st- and 2nd-level support with a focus on server and infrastructure topics
- Implementation of IT security policies
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and runbooks/operational manuals
- Active collaboration with our European IT teams
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., Fachinformatiker Systemintegration / IT specialist for system integration) and at least 3 years of professional experience, or an equivalent qualification
- Solid experience administering Windows and Linux servers
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration, in particular user, group and permissions management
- Creation and maintenance of Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
- Practical experience operating virtualization environments based on Hyper-V
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, ideally in hybrid scenarios (on-premises/Azure)
- Routine in 1st- and 2nd-level support focusing on server and infrastructure topics, as well as client and application management
- Good understanding of IT security concepts, patching, update and backup procedures
- Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Structured and independent working style with a strong solution orientation
- Team player with strong service orientation and communication skills
