• Senior Pipeline Engineer supporting Costain's pipeline engineering efforts including design and construction processes. Join a team focused on sustainable energy solutions in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Production and checking of tendering and design deliverables, aligned with your technical discipline, to meet project needs and client requirements.
• Coordinating project work activities between team members – such as interdisciplinary reviews.
• Engaging / leading technical reviews, meetings and presentations to support scope delivery, closing out of technical actions.
• Completion of work packages to cost, time and quality needs, managing change and other resources / people as required to achieve this.
• Support to others in the project team and wider Costain to ensure project and corporate outcomes are achieved.
• Collaborate and ensure learning is shared, proactively challenge / celebrate safety performance.
• Collaborate with suppliers, other designers, construction team and similar to produce a robust and safe design output.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering.
• Proven experience in pipeline engineering design or pipeline integrity management.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and pipeline analysis tools (e.g., CAESAR II, PIPESTRESS) is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work in and contribute to a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft office tools.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Work with paramount consideration of Health, Safety, Environment, Risk Reduction and management.
• Ability to work at least 3 days per week from the Manchester Office.
• Security Clearance - The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
