Responsibilities
Production and checking of tendering and design deliverables, aligned with your technical discipline, to meet project needs and client requirements.
Coordinating project work activities between team members – such as interdisciplinary reviews.
Engaging / leading technical reviews, meetings and presentations to support scope delivery, closing out of technical actions.
Completion of work packages to cost, time and quality needs, managing change and other resources / people as required to achieve this.
Support to others in the project team and wider Costain to ensure project and corporate outcomes are achieved.
Collaborate and ensure learning is shared, proactively challenge / celebrate safety performance.
Collaborate with suppliers, other designers, construction team and similar to produce a robust and safe design output.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering.
Proven experience in pipeline engineering design or pipeline integrity management.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and pipeline analysis tools (e.g., CAESAR II, PIPESTRESS) is desirable.
Demonstrated ability to work in and contribute to a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft office tools.
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Work with paramount consideration of Health, Safety, Environment, Risk Reduction and management.
Ability to work at least 3 days per week from the Manchester Office.
Security Clearance - The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
