About the role

  • Claims Analyst managing litigation claims against security companies and investigators. Ensuring timely resolution and compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Adjust and manage claims brought against security companies, private investigators and alarm installation and monitoring companies.
  • Provide early contact with insured to identify witnesses, employees, and relevant documents.
  • Analyze coverage for application to claim and prepare coverage position letters.
  • Confer with internal and external coverage counsel where necessary.
  • Communicate with underwriting as to insured’s risk potential.
  • Maintain diaries for file tasks, settlement conferences, mediations, and trial.
  • Oversee defense counsel to ensure timely reporting and confirmation of defense strategy.
  • Prepare internal reports and communicate critical new developments to management.
  • Attend mediation and settlement conferences when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5 plus years of claims experience preferred.
  • Law degree strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
