About the role

  • Regulatory Affairs Specialist completing customer product and plant questionnaires for food and feed products. Ensuring accurate regulatory information and collaborating with internal stakeholders at Corbion.

Responsibilities

  • Complete customer product and plant questionnaires for food and feed products accurately and within agreed turnaround times.
  • Handle questionnaires originating from customer portals (e.g. TraceGains) and internal systems (e.g. Salesforce).
  • Compile complete regulatory documentation packages, including required certificates, and ensure correct handover to Customer Service teams.
  • Apply global food regulatory knowledge (e.g. EU, FDA, Codex Alimentarius, inventories, HACCP) to ensure compliant responses.
  • Correctly interpret regulatory and product terminology (e.g. COA, PDS, allergens, CAS numbers, nutritional data, FSSC 22000).
  • Act as an internal point of contact for questionnaire related regulatory data and resolve follow-up questions until completion.
  • Maintain and update questionnaire data in internal databases and systems to support efficient reuse of information.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Quality, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Procurement Customer Service and other internal departments to gather and validate data.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of questionnaire processes, data quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • A relevant academic background in Chemistry, Food Science, Food Technology or a related scientific discipline (Bachelor’s or Master’s level).
  • At least three years of relevant experience in industry or consulting within food, feed, flavors, ingredients or related sectors.
  • Solid understanding of food regulatory concepts, product documentation and certification schemes (e.g. FSSC 22000, food additives, GMO).
  • Experience with regulatory data handling or completing customer questionnaires.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience with systems such as Salesforce, TraceGains or similar platforms is beneficial but not a prerequisite.
