Responsibilities
Drive and coordinate the compliance framework across the entire ControlExpert Group.
Provide clear insights and documentation to support strategic decision‑making.
Ensure a consistent compliance approach across all entities to protect integrity and meet legal and regulatory obligations.
Support the development and maintenance of an effective Compliance Management System, including training, investigations, documentation, and promoting a strong compliance culture.
Implement and oversee the compliance framework for assigned compliance risk areas (e.g., Anti‑Financial Crime and Market Integrity).
Advise senior management on regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Identify, assess, and monitor compliance risks throughout the organization.
Coordinate with other control functions (e.g., Internal Audit) to ensure effective oversight and compliance.
Monitor legal and regulatory changes, support the annual Compliance Plan, and prepare regular reports for the Management Board, including escalation of critical issues.
Support and guide international entities in maintaining robust compliance systems and provide key insights to the Chief Compliance Officer.
Requirements
University degree in law, or a related degree with a strong focus on compliance, legal, or regulatory topics.
5–7+ years of relevant professional experience in an international company, preferably in a regulated industry.
Proven managerial experience in compliance and/or legal functions.
Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements, particularly in the insurance sector.
Solid understanding of insurance and financial markets, as well as governance and regulatory frameworks.
Several years of hands‑on experience in compliance and/or legal roles within financial services.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulatory topics clearly and effectively.
Additional qualifications in compliance, risk, or regulatory areas and experience in international or highly regulated environments (nice to have).
