About the role

  • Logistics Coordinator managing customer needs and transportation operations at DSV. Handling daily logistics tasks to ensure timely and accurate freight movement and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all day-to-day operational elements of our customer’s needs
  • Analyze booking information from customer to verify service requirements, routes, and rates
  • Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound freight while staying abreast of priorities and targets
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to prepare and present quotes
  • Dispatch shipments and communicate with carriers to monitor freight movement
  • Build strong relationships with the carriers and maintain performance reports
  • Ensure tracking meets established standards and escalate issues as needed
  • Meet KPI standards as per company guidelines

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years in transportation/logistics/distribution
  • College Diploma / University Degree in Business, Logistics, or International Trade preferable
  • CIFFA certificate, an asset
  • Dangerous Goods Certification, an asset
  • Proficient in both English and French languages
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Working knowledge of transportation management software i.e., Load Link, PC Miler, etc., would be an asset.
