About the role

  • Outside Sales Representative managing key accounts at QED. Delivering exceptional customer service and increasing sales while collaborating with key suppliers and developing technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and recommending QED’s value‐added services and programs tailored to their business objectives
  • Participate in training sessions and sales meetings
  • Work actively with key suppliers to develop business with new and existing customers
  • Implement strategy to increase sales and profits for key accounts
  • Deliver presentations on new products, answer questions on products and company services
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of company products and supplier offerings, application features, advantages, and benefits
  • Meet or exceed annual sales and profit budgets working with new and established customers

Requirements

  • 4 year degree preferred
  • 4–5 years of experience in sales preferred
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and technical procedures
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from small groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to perform math functions representative of the job such as; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and metric scales; computing rate, ratio, and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs; calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and proportions
  • Possess in depth knowledge of QED computer systems, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Must be a team player and abide by QED’s strong core values and beliefs

  • Define long term objectives while maintaining the ability to adjust to changing situations
