About the role

  • Senior Games Tools Programmer at Coody building tools to empower game teams and improve workflows. Working closely with designers, artists, and programmers to enhance development quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain tools and editor features used across the team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and pipelines
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that increase productivity and quality
  • Work closely with engine and gameplay teams when tools require deeper integration
  • Debug, optimize, and support tools in an active production environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the video games industry in a technical role
  • Strong experience with C# and/or C++
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Lua, or JavaScript
  • Proven experience building tools that improve workflows and user experience
  • Familiarity with game engines and editor concepts
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • High standards for quality, usability, and maintainability
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
