About the role
- Data Analyst performing data analysis and insights generation for financial products in a hybrid workspace at a fintech.
Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis, identifying patterns and generating insights to support business areas, with moderate scope and intermediate complexity.
- Contribute to data modeling by validating business rules and applying basic data governance best practices.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Metabase, Data Studio, Looker Studio, or similar).
- Extract, clean, and manipulate data in BigQuery and cloud computing environments, ensuring consistency and integrity of information.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to validate and improve existing pipelines and data structures.
- Support other analysts in executing tasks and share knowledge when needed, without formal leadership responsibility.
- Suggest improvements to analytical processes and workflows to increase efficiency and standardization.
- Understand business rules and stakeholder needs, participating in the planning and definition of metrics and KPIs.
- Assist in documenting processes, calculation rules, and data structures, following information security guidelines and LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law).
- Monitor the data lifecycle under your responsibility, ensuring clarity, context, and quality of deliverables.
Requirements
- Intermediate to advanced SQL (preferably in BigQuery, but experience with other databases is accepted).
- BI tools: Power BI, Metabase, Data Studio, or Looker.
- Familiarity with cloud computing (preferably GCP; experience with AWS or Azure is a plus).
- Ability to structure analyses and present results clearly (data storytelling).
- Basic knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data governance best practices.
- Programming in Python or R for analyses and automation (a plus).
- Familiarity with Machine Learning, statistical modeling, or predictive techniques (a plus).
- Previous experience with data pipelines or orchestration tools (a plus).
