Bilingual Career Coach Facilitator for Ontario Career Lab connecting youth with career insights and coaching. Leading sessions, coordinating volunteers, and engaging communities across Ontario.
Responsibilities
Facilitation and Program Delivery: Deliver engaging opening and closing presentations in both French and English, manage event flow and transitions, adapt facilitation style to suit diverse audiences, support student engagement, represent HIEC.
Program Coordination and Logistics: Serve as on-site lead, conduct pre-session briefings, coordinate logistics with educators, manage event materials.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with educators, students, volunteers, and partners, support recruitment of Career Coaches, communicate effectively.
Evaluation and Reporting: Administer and collect evaluations, ensure compliance with data privacy, document outcomes, share insights.
Continuous Improvement: Identify enhancement opportunities, contribute creative ideas, support knowledge-sharing.
Requirements
Minimum: high school diploma; post-secondary education in education, communications, or social sciences is an asset.
3–5 years’ experience in facilitation, training delivery, or program coordination.
Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) is required.
Familiarity with Ontario and its francophone communities is valued.
Experience working with youth or in educational settings is a strong asset.
Experience in career coaching, employment counselling, or workforce development is a strong asset.
Proficiency in digital tools for coordination, reporting, and communication.
ASL/FSL is an asset.
Experience facilitating both virtual and in-person sessions.
