About the role
- Media Asset Analyst role focusing on content validation and IFE systems in an international team for an airline service company. Ensure quality and compliance of media assets across client platforms.
Responsibilities
- Perform validation of content sets and individual files, which includes validating technical compliance, audio/video sync issues, language verification, aspect ratios and image & metadata correctness;
- Confirm proper display / playback of content on a variety of system mock-ups to ensure consistency, integrity, and quality;
- Coordinate quick and effective re-working of rejected media and follow problems through to their resolution;
- Utilize experience/knowledge gained to identify trends and issues, improve quality and efficiency, and recommend alternatives;
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all actions taken on test/validation and issue resolutions;
- Track and monitor all tasks within the process for each client request.
Requirements
- Post-production IFE industry experience of at least 2 years;
- Have extensive experience with a variety of IFE Systems and their respective specifications which define content encoding requirements;
- Be familiar with a variety of GUI display and navigation requirements to ensure proper presentation of representative images and metadata;
- Have in-depth understanding of assigned customer profiles, content requirements and viewing restrictions;
- Have strong judgement capabilities to identify / report content which may not be fitting for specific client(s);
- Have moderate understanding of cloud-based tools procedures used to perform assigned tasks;
- Be familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures along with analytical skills to perform light-moderate troubleshooting and bug fixing on failed content;
- Understand and enable compliance to MPAA standards and regulations, plus be cognizant of content security at all times;
- Have experience collaborating with remote team members worldwide;
- Be a dedicated and reliable team player with a hands-on attitude;
- Fluent English skills since we are an international team.
