About the role

  • UI/UX Design Developer responsible for designing and developing user-centered web applications. Collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality front-end solutions using React and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

  • Design user-centered interfaces for complex workflows within enterprise web applications.
  • Produce wireframes, mockups, prototypes, user flows, and interaction models.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterative design improvements.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable UI patterns.
  • Uphold accessibility, usability, and performance standards across all UI deliverables.
  • Define clear page layouts, navigation structures, interaction flows, and user journeys.
  • Use prototyping to demonstrate transitions, micro-interactions, and component behaviors.
  • Build responsive, accessible, and performant UI components using React, Vite, Material UI, Redux Toolkit, React Query, React Hook Form, and StyledComponents/SCSS.
  • Implement reusable component architectures aligned with design system standards.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, visual consistency, and WCAG accessibility compliance.
  • Integrate UI components with backend APIs and RESTful services.
  • Use Azure DevOps Repos for source control, branching, merging, and version management.
  • Participate in Azure DevOps Boards for work item tracking, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
  • Contribute to CI/CD processes using Azure Pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment of UI features.
  • Collaborate using DevOps dashboards, pull requests, and code review workflows.
  • Partner with product managers, backend engineers, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.
  • Provide design and technical input during sprint planning and architectural discussions.
  • Translate UX concepts into feasible, scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience in UI/UX design and frontend development.
  • Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS.
  • Experience with design tools (such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Repos and Azure DevOps Boards.
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and interaction design.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and code review best practices.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Material UI, Fluent UI, or custom component libraries.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+).
  • Experience with state management tools (Redux).
  • Familiarity with build tools (Vite/Webpack) and performance optimization techniques.
  • Comfort with micro-interactions or motion design using Framer Motion or similar libraries.
