About the role
- VP of Finance shaping financial operations at Condor, building an intelligent financial model for biotech growth strategies.
Responsibilities
- Build and Own the Operating Model
- Own and continuously maintain Condor’s financial model (revenue, headcount, opex, cash), ensuring it remains a practical decision-making tool.
- Define, track, and report on core vertical SaaS metrics, including ARR, NRR, CAC payback, burn, sales productivity, etc.
- Partner closely with RevOps and Sales leadership on pipeline-to-bookings forecasting.
- Work directly with the CEO on fundraising preparation, including investor narratives, financial models, and data room materials.
- Prepare board-ready reporting packages with clear KPIs, insights, and scenario analyses.
- Partner with Product and Engineering on headcount planning, ROI, and investment prioritization.
- Ensure the company is tracking the right KPIs and that business intelligence around those metrics is accurate.
- Stand up and mature core finance processes, including forecasting cadence, budget vs. actuals, and basic financial controls.
- Hire and manage accounting and FP&A support as the company scales.
- Own investor reporting and internal dashboards as Condor grows.
Requirements
- Experience helping build effective finance functions in early-stage, high-growth SaaS companies.
- Skilled across the full finance stack: FP&A, strategic finance, accounting oversight, SaaS metrics, budgeting, compliance, and investor relations.
- Experience partnering closely with Sales, RevOps, Product, and Engineering, translating operating plans into financial outcomes.
- Comfort operating in a startup environment, including rolling up sleeves while building for scale.
- Successful track record driving financial strategy and discipline through the enterprise SaaS growth journey, including fundraising support and board communications.
