Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and Typescript.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and define effective testing strategies.
- Perform integration testing to ensure end-to-end functionality across platforms and services.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for testing and development.
- Identify, log, and troubleshoot defects, providing detailed reports and analysis.
- Work closely with DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Actively engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, and X-Ray for test case management and documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and implementing robust automated test frameworks.
- Proficiency in frameworks like Playwright and Typescript for end-to-end test automation.
- Hands-on experience with additional automation tools such as Selenium and Cypress.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Experience with integration testing and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks, especially React.js.
- Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, debugging, and problem-solving.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, and X-Ray.
- Familiarity with containerization/orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on test automation.
