About the role

  • Supply Chain Manager overseeing operations at Udi's Gluten Free Products in Denver, CO. Leading teams and optimizing processes to enhance supply chain efficiency and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, warehousing, transportation, and customer service.
  • Lead and develop teams in warehousing, receiving, planning, and scheduling, with a typical team size of approximately 35.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (such as 5S) by evaluating current processes and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Foster a customer-focused mindset across all supply chain functions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with strategic retail customers and internal teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve service, scheduling, and deployment issues.
  • Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators and support supplier development.
  • Analyze logistics deductions and fees, identifying and addressing root causes.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Align supply chain strategies with business goals to support sales initiatives.
  • Lead demand planning for product launches, transitions, and discontinuations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, including Warehousing, Transportation, Sales and Operations Planning, Supply Scheduling, Customer Service.
  • 3+ years of experience managing direct reports.
  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional project management and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in SAP (production planning and materials management); WMS experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills (such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and proficiency in Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Familiarity with Just-In-Time principles and experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • APICS or similar certification preferred.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders.
