About the role

Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, warehousing, transportation, and customer service.
- Lead and develop teams in warehousing, receiving, planning, and scheduling, with a typical team size of approximately 35.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (such as 5S) by evaluating current processes and implementing innovative solutions.
- Foster a customer-focused mindset across all supply chain functions.
- Serve as the primary liaison with strategic retail customers and internal teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve service, scheduling, and deployment issues.
- Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators and support supplier development.
- Analyze logistics deductions and fees, identifying and addressing root causes.
- Conduct regular business reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
- Align supply chain strategies with business goals to support sales initiatives.
- Lead demand planning for product launches, transitions, and discontinuations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, including Warehousing, Transportation, Sales and Operations Planning, Supply Scheduling, Customer Service.
- 3+ years of experience managing direct reports.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional project management and process improvement.
- Proficiency in SAP (production planning and materials management); WMS experience preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills (such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and proficiency in Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data to inform decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Familiarity with Just-In-Time principles and experience in a manufacturing environment.
- APICS or similar certification preferred.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders.
