About the role

  • Procurement Analyst at Comgás responsible for controlling and negotiating purchasing portfolios. Involves collaboration with internal clients and ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Responsibilities

  • Control, plan and negotiate the following portfolios: Emergency, Technical Assistance, Customer Service, Network Construction, Routine Maintenance, Building Connections and Expansions, Commercial Connections and Expansions, Designers/Engineering Firms, Project Management and Construction Inspection firms;
  • Monitor and support the development of productivity indicators for suppliers in your portfolio, seeking continuous improvement opportunities, cost reduction, and technological and operational advancements in contracted activities;
  • Assess macro- and microeconomic factors using market intelligence reports to improve negotiation efficiency, identifying opportunities and/or constraints related to raw materials or supply chain services, and proposing solutions and negotiation strategies for your categories;
  • Propose methods and strategies to ensure services are procured and made available to operations through execution of long-term contracts and timely purchase orders, preventing supply interruptions;
  • Support decision-making by analyzing supplier-base risk across the seven strategic pillars, keeping data updated, implementing mitigation plans, and monitoring indicators monthly to avoid the risk of supply disruption;
  • Map opportunities and forecast scenarios; prepare the Annual Strategic Plan for the categories you lead to achieve the best results and meet the targets set for the year;
  • Execute purchasing processes in accordance with internal policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with established rules;
  • Support and guide internal stakeholders in fulfilling their roles and complying with procurement policies and procedures;
  • Act as an influential advocate for the company's safety, compliance and governance topics;
  • Act diligently and attentively to risks, identifying weaknesses and proposing improvements to processes for which you are directly or indirectly responsible.

Requirements

  • Completed higher education (preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields);
  • Preferably enrolled in a postgraduate program or specialization courses;
  • Negotiation techniques (strategic sourcing, cost breakdowns, clean sheets, cost modeling, etc.);
  • Financial mathematics;
  • Knowledge of managerial and cost accounting;
  • Micro and macroeconomics;
  • ERP/MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and internal logistics;
  • Basic manufacturing processes;
  • Desired: Advanced Microsoft Office, SAP MM, SAP Ariba;
  • Availability to work 3 days per week on-site at the Faria Lima unit and 2 days remote (home office).
