About the role
- Night Auditor handling financial operations on cruise ships during night shifts. Responsible for accurate transaction recording, guest billing, and finance team support.
Responsibilities
- The Night Auditor will responsible for overseeing the financial operations during the night shift, ensuring accurate accounting of daily transactions, and providing support for the finance team during the voyage.
- Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions that occur during the night shift during the voyage;
- Conduct audits of daily financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards during the voyage;
- Handle guest billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies during the voyage;
- Prepare and distribute financial reports for management and other departments during the voyage;
- Monitor security measures and report any incidents or concerns during the night shift during the voyage;
- Provide support to the finance team during the voyage as needed, including data entry and financial record-keeping during the voyage.
Requirements
- Fluency in English is mandatory, with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred);
- Previous experience in night audit or finance-related roles is advantageous during the voyage;
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel during the voyage;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping during the voyage;
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills during the voyage;
- Ability to work independently during night shifts during the voyage;
- Experience in other cruise companies, in cruise vessels of similar size (150000 GT/3400 pax) is a plus;
- Understanding of security protocols and the ability to report incidents during the voyage.
