About the role

  • Communication Automation Specialist managing enrollment and retention automated communication strategies for Collegis Education. Focusing on accuracy and effectiveness while collaborating with various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with troubleshooting, maintaining and improving automation tool function
  • Work along with the Associate Director of Communication Strategy, enrollment, retention and IT, teams to implement strategies and initiatives that align with our clients’ objectives for comprehensive communication, in support of goals across all audience types
  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of tasks originating from multiple channels (enrollment and retention) to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Investigate daily tech and/or data issues and discrepancies to understand their impact on communication automation
  • Audit communication flows for content and technical accuracy, identifying necessary updates or adjustments to improve performance
  • Gathers insights from enrollment and retention teams and identifies scalable solutions across partners
  • Develop, drive and maintain process standardization and documentation for operational optimization and consistency
  • Support the development of new automation capabilities, leveraging new and emerging data, technology and AI-related capabilities
  • Assist in the onboarding of new hires into the communication systems and support internal transitions during partnership changes
  • Produce email, sms and other communication content as needed, ensuring it maintains the appropriate tone for enrollment and retention
  • Conduct market research (enrollment, retention, marketing, and higher ed) and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement in communication strategies, including bringing innovative ideas and strategies to our clients
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of enrollment (and retention) communications, using metrics and feedback to continuously improve outreach, in partnership with data enablement and business intelligence and analytics teams
  • Adhere to the appropriate information security policies based on the sensitivity of company data and report any security related issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or relevant years of experience required
  • Operates with a high attention to detail
  • Deep understanding of the higher education student journey, including enrollment and retention processes
  • Ability to interpret data and metrics to measure success and identify opportunities for differentiation
  • Proficiency in using various communication tools and platforms, including voice, SMS, email marketing software, content management systems, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Salesforce, Regal and Marketo experience preferred
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse internal teams
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making and measure success
  • Creativity and ability to think strategically to develop innovative communication approaches
  • Knowledge of compliance and privacy regulations related to communication and marketing
