About the role

  • State Leasing Manager at Coles managing leasing outcomes across Queensland, focusing on negotiation and team leadership. Overseeing complex property transactions and commercial dealings in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • You will own and drive all leasing outcomes across Queensland, partnering with Operations, Finance, Location Planning and the broader Property team to secure commercially strong and strategically aligned property deals.
  • Lead and negotiate major leasing transactions across new stores, redevelopments, renewals and closures
  • Drive delivery of the Queensland property pipeline against business priorities and timelines
  • Manage commercial viability, risk and financial outcomes across leasehold projects
  • Prepare and present high-quality business cases
  • Build strong relationships with developers, landlords and internal stakeholders
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing leasing team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience negotiating complex commercial leasing agreements
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen across property projects
  • Experience managing multiple high-value projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in property, business, legal or a related discipline (preferred).
