About the role

  • Systems Manager responsible for compliance and operational excellence within health, safety and environmental standards at Coke Canada Bottling. Leading continuous improvement initiatives and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for quality, health, safety and the environment.
  • Coordinate the integrated management system to ensure that local programs meet necessary standards (ISO, Customers, legal requirements etc) and that these programs are continually improved at the plant.
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of site management systems by regularly coordinating internal and external audit and managing the sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure that ongoing training and development is aligned with the plant's people’s strategy and that it is implemented in a way that enables employees to realize their potential.
  • Responsible for risk assessments, incident management and management of change.
  • Support the plant operations by analyzing & maintaining data on plant losses and quantifying the savings that could result from improvement projects.
  • Support the other departments to establish strategies that will eliminate wasted time and material loss, as well as lower production costs per case using systems and tools that promote operational excellence.
  • Act as a liaison with local and corporate operational excellence resources to ensure the site always follows established standards for implementing operational excellence initiatives.
  • Proactively lead the implementation of best practices that improve employee health and safety, development, and a constant desire to implement and sustain improvements across the business factory, exerting their influence on the management team and at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in administration or in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • 3+ years of managerial experience, proven leadership skills in a teamwork environment.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
