About the role

  • Director of Fleet overseeing vehicle innovation, regulatory compliance, and maintenance programs at Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast. Leading fleet strategy and ensuring operational efficiency across multi-functional vehicle fleet.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for vehicle innovation, federal and state regulatory compliance
  • Oversight of all centralized strategic fleet asset management
  • Manage the annual fleet capital budget process and ordering of equipment
  • Direct ownership of all aspects of OPEX budgeting and fleet shop operational expenditures
  • Create, develop, implement and maintain the short and long term Fleet Strategy
  • Lead development across fleet and driver operations
  • Initiate, analyze and manage innovation, technology and suppliers related to fleet equipment
  • Develop and manage best-in-class policies, processes and reporting for vehicle planned maintenance programs
  • Maintains responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units
  • Design, implement, and manage policies, procedures, and reporting to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Administer vehicle registration and permitting, ensuring compliance with state fuel tax.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, transportation management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), Fleet Management Software, SAP Software, and Preventative Maintenance Programs
  • Must be able to develop and deliver presentations
  • Fleet environment and Fleet systems experience along with extensive preventive maintenance experience
  • Physical requirements: Sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel/squat, climb stairs, overhead reach, grasp, and lift, carry, push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license, driving record within policy guidelines, and insurance that meets or exceeds company requirements.
